Half Balinese, half Manadonese, Karina Christy spent most of her childhood in Semarang, Central Java. Armed with a solid powerful singing voice, she gained her first exposure in 2012 as one of Indonesian Idol's top 15. After her idol journey, Karina continued to pursue her music career as a vocalist for a band called Asta as well as her own solo career with the name Christy Karina. 2022, Karina Christy come back with a different approach of music yet still embodied the strong powerhouse vocal with Night Like This.
