A worthy descendant of the legacy of Françoise Hardy, Margo Guyan, and Vashti Bunyan, Laure Briard creates intimate music between realism and poetry. Performing as much in the styles of pop and garage rock as bossa nova, she weaves bits of pscyhedelic yé-yé, where softness merges with the callousness of our existences. Her third album "Un peu plus d’amour s'il vous plait" was released in early 2019. After two Portuguese-language EPs ("Coração Louco & "Eu Voo"), recorded with the Boogarins, her new album "Ne pas trop rester bleue" will be out in February 2023
