Biyografi

In 2006, Danica emerged onto the music scene, by making the finals of the Junior Eurosong with ‘Play Your Violin’, but it was in 2007 when she left her mark, finishing 2nd with ‘Stolen’. She made one further attempt in 2008, qualifying with not one but two songs, finishing in 4th place. She never looked back since, and 2 years later was chosen to take part in Io Canto, on Canale 5 performing with the likes of Pierdavide Carone, Ornella Vanoni, and The Priests. Following the experience in Italy, Danica returned to Malta in high spirits and started taking part in a series of music competitions, including; the Summer Hit Song Contest finishing in 3rd place with the song Amour; the Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza finishing in 2nd place with Sfumaw, the Malta Eurovision Song Contest semifinals with a selection of songs such as: 7 Days, Close Your Eyes, Frontline and lastly being in the finals of Mużika Mużika on two consecutive occasions: in 2021 with Għażiż and in 2022 with Ossiġnu, a collaboration with Kapitlu tlettax. Away from music competitions, Danica has a strong affinity with the LGBTQI+ community, performing at the Malta Pride on a number of occasions, whilst also performing at WomenSpace, an event designed just for women. She was also invited to perform at the semi-final phase of Miss Universe Malta, and during Żejt iż-Żejtun.
