At only 21 years old, Berkeley born singer, songwriter, and actor, Marteen, has already become one of the industry’s most promising new talents. At the age of sixteen Marteen debuted his first EP, "NOTHANKYOU", produced by Super Producer, J.R. Rotem. It went on to draw acclaim from the New York Times, Billboard, Paper Magazine, VMan, Just Jared, Galore, W Korea, and sent him across country on tour with industry greats such as Kehlani and Dua Lipa. Aside from being apart of these large U.S./Canadian tours, Marteen also started to gain a worldwide audience, capturing the attention of South Korea, who pushed his EP to the top of their charts, and to platinum certification. Kpop sensation, NCT 127, also reached out to Marteen to feature him on their song, “What We Talkin’ Bout”, for their first collaboration with an American artist. His followup mixtape, titled, “8”, featured collaborations with G-Eazy, NCT 127’s Taeyong, Sage the Gemini, and Guapdad 4000, and showed the young artist has what it takes to stake his claim in the music industry.
