Spring Harvest is a teaching and worship event for everybody. It’s a unique break for all the family: a holiday, festival, conference, and an encounter with God. Gathering to worship is a distinctive feature and arguably, a chief contributor to its longevity. Whether acappella or fully-loaded, rock-laced or Taizé -textured, traditional or post-modern, action-orientated or prayer-reflective; across the age and ability spectrum, you will hear singing. Lots of it! There is something enriching and transformational about singing theological truth and spiritual ambition in the company of others. It’s as if the melody of the Kingdom of God breaks through the arbitrary elements of musical style, stage personalities and location, and delivers a downloadable soundtrack for discipleship, creating an unforgettable anthem to accompany those vapours of glory! These songs venture to find the touching point between pain and hope in the midst of a world in crisis; they seek to discover those celestial collisions, described by the psalmist as the place where mercy and truth meet, justice and peace kiss…and these songs remind us that God is not dead but alive and we have everything to celebrate.
