Born in Brisbane Australia 2008, the 1st release, the Self Titled E.P. (commonly known as "Distortion, Filter, Volume" for it's cover art, an altered "ProCo RAT pedal") caught them by surprise with immediate rave reviews and national radio. Instantly touring Australia with acts as diverse as "Birds of Tokyo", "You Am I", "Airborne", "Jebidiah" "Wolfmother", "Seether" & "The Bronx". Sharing stages with "Children Collide", "Tame Impala", "Grin Spoon", "British India", "Pnau", Empire Of The Sun" & "Crowded House" along the way. With "Valley Trash Records" under 1st Manager "David Crane" NR finished their only full length album to date "Acquiring Satellites" (an homage to the band's overworked tour-buss satellite navigation system). Continuing touring and writing, securing a permanent rehearsal space at Stafford's "The Drum Cartel" next door to fellow Brisbane band "The Butterfly Effect" (the last known band to tour with NR). For 2 more years under new manager "Nick Lynagh" with TM "Jeff Hahn" & Producer "Jeff Lovejoy" NR toured, rehearsed, wrote and recorded amassing a huge back catalog of b-sides, demo's & fans, eventually releasing the (aptly named) Final Day" E.P. Signing a record deal with "Shock" 2012 NR began sifting through their back catalog. The long awaited forth record however, never eventuated, the deal with "Shock" went cold & the band took an extended hiatus, leaving many lucrative endorsements and half completed agreements abandoned in late 2012. Until 2022..
