The album was originally recorded in 1993. BIO Founded in the late 80's by Riz Story, Taylor Hawkins and Jon Davison (YES) in Laguna Beach, California. After years of working with Hawkins the band splintered. A new line-up recorded the album 'Rats Live on no Evil Star'. Next came the 'Live Acid' album. ANYONE was named 'Best Band', Los Angeles Music Awards in 1999. ANYONE signed to RoadRunner Records in 1999 and released their highly acclaimed debut album. ROLLING STONE gave it 5 out 5 stars. ANYONE appeared in heavy rotation on European MTV. The band were 'cancelled' in the wake of 911. Undeterred ANYONE released 'A Little Sip' in 2006. ANYONE dis-banded in 2006 when Story decided to focus on film making and producing. Story's feature film 'A Winter Rose' spawned 6 Top Ten Singles (BILLBOARD). VARIETY wrote, "Riz Story embodies the indie spirit." ANYONE reemerged in 2016, with "Echoes and Traces". The song "Fly Away" reached #6 (BILLBOARD) and #1 on the DRT National Rock Chart. In 2020 ANYONE released 'On the Ending Earth' to wide critical acclaim. Next in 2021 came what many critics agreed is ANYONE's magnum opus, 'In Humanity'. Legendary jazz pianist Herbie Hancock commented, "I've never heard anybody else do that, play all those instruments on that level."
