K THX BYE is that band playing the after hours party at a hip warehouse downtown. That song you hear through your neighbor’s window when you’re having a cigarette on the rooftop. Sleek, high fashion meets a smokey, neon lit nightclub. Their sound marries nostalgic synth tones and lush vocal melodies for a fresh, contemporary sound with timeless songwriting sensibilities K THX BYE is made up of vocalist Lyndsi Austin (Tidal Babes), producer Chris Qualls (aka Nxghtshade) and drummer Danny DeLeon (Soft Kill, Moving Units). The trio released their debut single “Hurt Like Hell” on April 30th, 2021 on FiXT Neon Records “The lush indie pop song combines the ethereal vocals of acts such as London Grammar and CHVRCHES with slow-burning, dance floor synth tones.
