Money – Society – Power – Hatred – Greed… … those and similar terms characterise the themes of INTENT:OUTTAKE’s songs; who are a Dark-Electro band from Leipzig. Pounding beats, a melancholic atmosphere, an alternation between calm singing and shouting, intelligently composed songs, but also contemplative and quiet tones… that’s what Bastian and Andreas represented. It doesn’t always have to be loud, brute and/or fast; conveying the message is much more of equal importance. What started with the album “Wake Up Call” in January 2015, has ever since been continued consistently for over seven years. The band’s motto is: “WIR TÖTEN DIE STILLE” (“WE KILL THE SILENCE”). This one sentence is part of their first album and over the years, many fans have started using it as a synonym for INTENT:OUTTAKE. INTENT:OUTTAKE always had a strong live-presence. Not only did they perform at various festivals, like Amphi, Wave Gotik Treffen, NCN, E-Tropolis and many more, they also toured with bands like FUNKER VOGT, EISFABRIK und AGONOIZE as special guests. Until now, Bastian and Andreas have released four albums and five EPs. But there are still things that remain to be told; therefore they will return in Spring 2023 with their new album and then the band will also tour through Germany.
