Koena Cyfred Seimela- Popularly known as Cyfred - is a 22 year old house music artist, producer and Dj A native of Polokwane. Cyfred channelled his artistic expression through dance before he was drawn to music which he started creating after high school. Subsequently pursuing a qualification in marketing he maintained attention to his core passion, garnering over 500 000 streams after releasing his debut single “Woza”. A combination of his innate rhythm, talent and passion pointed to a potentially viable music career when his debut EP Alostro dropped to wide acclaim.Taken off his sophomore project Chapter 1 , 'Snake Park' currently sits over 1000 000 YouTube plays, with the official video having received upward of 600 000 views. Nicknamed the Alostro Effect by adoring fans, the track captures the allure of Cyfred’s iteration of amapiano in its mixture of infectious lyricism, visceral production and up-tempo grooves. Along with creating the new wave of amapiano sounds with the peers such as Musa Keys, Sino Msolo and other influential musicians. Cyfred has graced stages with the likes of Musa Keys, DBN Gogo, Focalistic. The Cyfred live experience is the culmination of his multi-faceted skills as producer, artist, performer and DJ. 2022 saw the release of his highly anticipated EP MATHE which features hits with the regular collaborators Nkosazana Daughter, Musa Keys, DBN Gogo Focalistic , MJ and others.
