Oneblood (Birkan Özdemir) is a musician and songwriter born on April 21, 1994, in Nicosia. Music has been his lifelong passion and an escape since childhood. Drawing inspiration from foreign Hip-Hop artists, he began creating his hip-hop groove in 2008 and writing lyrics. Oneblood skillfully blends Trap, Hip Hop, Reggaeton, Afrobeat, and Alternative music styles in his demos since 2010.In 2012, he achieved great success by winning the 'Freestyle King' competition at the 'Cyprus Hip Hop Jam' Festival, igniting his recording journey. Between 2012 to 2014, Oneblood continuously experimented with recordings, composing numerous songs to find his distinctive style. In 2015, he took a professional step in his music career, releasing his first solo album, 'Zahmetli Düşler,' in 2017. In 2019, his first two singles, 'Lera' and 'Gavvole,' received significant attention on digital platforms. In 2020, 'Bak Genne,' 'Yanalım,' 'Yol Yok,' 'Hade,' and 'Yak' became popular in Cyprus, accumulating over one million streams. In 2021, he continued releasing singles, including 'Çakulet,' 'Dillirga,' and 'Bubble Up,' embracing Cypriot culture and language in his original style. He was recognized as the 'Best Rap Artist of the Year' at the 'B/POP Cyprus and Turkey Culture and Art Awards.' In 2022, Oneblood achieved success with four singles and the 'Düştüm Gözünden' EP album. In 2023, he launched the music company 'Magnus Music Entertainment,' which he founded in July.
