Biyografi

We are Servants of Zahra, Kumail Nanji and Abbas Rai. We are Toronto based youth reciters and very close friends as well. Our parents have instilled the love of reciting for Allah (swt) and Ahlul Bayt (as) in us from a young age and we were always passionate about listening to the newest recitations and reciting them at programs whenever we would get a chance. As we grew older, we realized that we shared a unique vocal combination which led us to recite together more often and ultimately create “Servants of Zahra”. SOZ is a platform for us to spread the message and love of the Ahlul Bayt (as) with our brothers and sisters across the world through our recitations and specifically to inspire the youth in our communities to embrace and share our love for the Ahlul Bayt (as). Inshallah we pray that with our sincere intention of seeking the pleasure of Allah (swt), our humble efforts are accepted and we can continue to serve Him and His loved ones till our last breath.
