I wake up from dark and hear a sound
The sound of people coming together
I call their names but they don't see
A grave my mother and dearest surround
Whose goodbye will this be forever?
I get closer and finally I see, it's me

I scream and shake but no one can hear
I'm lowered down into my new home
I count my sins and know they can't be undone
The darkness consumes me I'm filled with fear
I look to my side but I'm all alone
Now my real journey will start, it's begun

I pray for help to the fourteen
To them I give my plea
Ya Allah by their holy names
My book give me in my right
The pain has gone, they've saved me now,
I'm blinded by their light

Ya Sahibee 'Inda Ghurbati (O Fellow Traveller in my journey)
Ya Waliyi 'Inda Ni'mati (O Friend in my ease)
