From his first public performance crooning in French at the age of 6, to recording his first demo tracks on a series of old tape recorder decks — Kentö has always found innovative ways to merge sounds from early influences like Duran Duran, Kate Bush, & Tears for Fears with that of his multi-cultural upbringing (he spent the majority of his youth in Japan and Brazil). After his debut EP ‘Complicated’ with pop artist/producer Frankmusik, “Australia,” is the latest from this NYC-based artist's upcoming first full-length album, ‘Strangers.’
