“Communicant has located a key that unlocks the door to infinity. Finding that key took an ego death, image shifting, seeing through mirages that seem like success, personal breakthroughs that unlocked the real music within. This is uplifting psychedelic music graced with optimism... aware of the darker side but choosing to grow past it because life is temporary. The elaborate sonic textures on Sun Goes Out are bursting with color and space, with an effect approaching synesthesia. Voices seem to be right in front of you, over your shoulder, far away and yet right inside in your head. The vitally soaring arrangements of visual sound and emotion here give a sense of adventure and discovery akin to the first moments Dorothy arrived in OZ. Music that leans forward like this has no expiration date. Psychedelic music is about seeing infinity in the current moment and running with it. The very first words of the opening track "She Moves The Sky" allude to that unifying aspiration: "Through a hole in the sky she sees what she wants inside". Couple that with the urgency of these lines from "The Wheel": "And I can't slow down 'cause I'm using up my time" and you have psychedelic pop music for the ages. Communicant is not abstract, it is life itself, you can feel”
