Biyografi

Il Velivolo Ghibli (The Ghibli Aircraft) was born during a journey in the Sibillini Mountains (Italy). The voices of these magical mountains and the music of The Weepies in the earphones whispered the idea of this project to our singer, Giulia Caproli (Julia Hime). Giulia, struck by this vision, immediately contacts Lorenzo Paoletti (guitarist) that assisted her re-arranging the music of the Studio Ghibli animated movies, in Alternative Acoustic Rock. After few months looking for “the right person”, the two musicians called Josafat Farroni (aka Joshua McFarrow) to play the strings of his bass and to tell these enchanting stories with them. Riccardo Trozzo, their multi-instrumentalist, manifested himself to Il Velivolo guys as if by magic . Riccardo, crazy artist and great lover of Ghibli music, joined the project with entusiasm, closing the magical circle of the band.
