Living in my imagination and sometimes in reality // __________________________________________ Hi! I’m Jillian, AKA Spritely. I’m some combination of a pessimist and a hopeless romantic. I’m an avid reader and not-so-secretly wish I were living in a magical steampunk universe, but in this universe I’ll settle for some kind of pastel schoolgirl goth aesthetic. In another life I probably could have been a great coder, because I’m super mathy and love logic puzzles, but alas, I took the less sensible path of becoming a musician. To me, singing feels like how I imagine yoga feels to sane people. My favorite music is the kind that makes me feel so intensely, it’s kind of freaky and magical. Those kinds of songs gave teenage-me a reason to live and I’m just doing this all in the hopes I can pay it forward to some 14 year old on a school bus somewhere. Nitty gritty: grew up in Westchester, NY, spent a brief stint in Palm Beach, Florida, moved to LA for college (fight on USC!), then hopped around and spent two years in Nashville, but I’m back in LA now and lovin it. I produce my own music from the comfort of my one bedroom apartment, and sometimes my cat Daisy helps. I love negronis and science youtube and contraversial subjects. I have the best love story ever (seriously), and I intend to tell it through music this year.
