Cato, whose real name is Çağatay Nalcıer, was born in Konak in 1991. When he was younger, his interest in music had started with playing piano, and then continued with clarinet and percussion. Cato got the highest rank and came in first in the painting contest which he joined when he was in secondary school. After years, he dropped out the department of architecture in 9 Eylul University because of preparing for the department of music technology. He took the stage as Rapcato which is his previous nickname for years, Besides this Cato who is the first person that got 1 million view on Youtube, he performed duets with a lot of people who make rap music in those days. After this term, he gave a break to music and he graduated from Baskent University, the Academy of Communication Sciences, the department of Voice and Dubbing Acting. And then continuing his education in Cyprus, he graduated with the highest rank from the European University of Lefke, the department of Radio, Cinema, TV. Now he is continuing his carrier with the art of short movie, documentary and video. In 2016, he founded the companies of Nalcier Film and N&N Music to bring in new people to the sector. He got back to rap music with creating a channel on YouTube and production and directing clips. Cato brokeout with the song A.A.K which is a duet of him with Maho G. Now he is continuing his work in Izmir.
