    Featuring producer/rapper the Alchemist and rapper/producer Oh No, Gangrene was launched when these two strangers were introduced by a mutual friend, rapper and Dilated Peoples member Evidence. Beats and verses were exchanged through e-mail, and something casual and fun quickly turned serious, with the duo deciding to introduce Gangrene to the world. The underground hip-hop haven Decon was just the label to do it, and in 2010 they released the project's debut album, Gutter Water. Influenced by fuzz guitars and the whole psychedelic era, Vodka & Ayahuasca followed in 2012. ~ David Jeffries, Rovi
