TWIN ION ENGINE is a two piece post-punk/darkwave project formed by Eddie Lopez in 2020, hailing from San Diego, CA. The sound of TIE is a deep ghostly concept floundering in the topics of love, loss, passion, and intimacy, with an ever graceful aide of catchy and echoing guitar melodies, and ardent bass & drums. TIE’s haunting audio design has been compared to that of Molchat Doma, Lebanon Hanover, Twin Tribes, and many others’.
