    Pop music without the popularity. 
 CHEC is a duo comprised of singer/songwriter Elliot Cain and producer Cooper Holzman (aka Holz). They moved to LA from Portland in hopes of breaching the SoCal music scene. The duo has been making music together for eight years, coming from alternative rock roots to the pop electronic genre.
