Damian Lemar Hudson was born June 1st, 1989 in Washington state on Fort Lewis, in Tacoma. He was raised in Cartersville, Georgia & began singing at New Hope Baptist church from a very young age. Shortly after that, Damian’s father bought him a 61 key Casio keyboard for Christmas & from there Damian had the foundation he needed to start his journey as a singer-songwriter. Damian’s freshman year in college, he began experimenting with production. Damian went on to release his first mixtape and this is when he caught the attention of his long term collaborator friend Logic. After graduating from the University of Arizona, Damian had already composed several projects and had even written scripts, which caught the eye of Tony award winning Stew; which landed Damian a one way ticket to New York City. Damian spent 5 years hustling as a singer, actor, songwriter musician. After much success as a renaissance artist, Damian left the country to play guitar with Stew in Abu Dhabi. In 2020 Damian & his wife celebrated the birth of their 1st child in London & by mid 2021 the family moved to Los Angeles; shortly after he released his debut single “Miles” and in 2022 he released “Damian Lemar Hudson LP” In late 2022 Damian Lemar Hudson walked away from Def Jam/Bobby Boy Records to start his own record label InVoyager Records. #moresuccess was released on 11.22.22
