Born & Raised in Watts, California 
 Started making music as an in house producer for the (now defunct) South Central rap collective "Kids of the Leaf". (under the moniker "Cam, the Chef" [Wu-tang nod]) at the age of 14. "My main inspirations are Pharrell Williams, Beach House, Tha Dogg Pound, & Mac Miller" says the now 24 year old Cam. "I feel like the people in my area don't try that hard to express themselves in sound past the usual." His 2016 self-produced solo effort "strawberry moon" spawned his most streamed single so far, Talk. He recently released 2020's California Wildfires featuring production by Nate Fox of Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment, Walt Mansa, Nathan Austin and more. "I tried to encapsulate a time in the Los Angeles area where you couldn't escape the smell of fire no matter how many blunts you light. It was eerie" Cam says.
