LoVel James, who performs under his real name "LoVel", is a New York City based recording artist, singer, songwriter and producer. He has been writing, engineering and mixing his own material since the age of 12. LoVel has worked behind the scenes in the music industry since 2011, specifically in the field of film and television. His experience as an engineer and songwriter landed him placements in various blockbuster movies including “The Best Man Holiday”, Dreamwork’s “Turbo”, and Dreamwork’s “VeggieTales”, along with various television network placements including (but not limited to) Fox’s Empire, The Bad Girl’s Club, NBA on TNT, VH1, E!, and ESPN. 
 Further pursuing his own career as a recording artist in 2015, LoVel released his debut EP, "Backseat Memories", along with various singles featuring artists such as Dave East, Nitty Scott MC, and Fetty Wap. "Backseat Memories" was the first of an EP trilogy, as LoVel's second installment, Passenger came in 2020. 
 In his career as an artist, LoVel’s success has been prominent as he’s gained worldwide exposure and notched over 7.5+ Million spins on various platforms with his releases to date. His latest release "Sweat" is currently gaining traction with the music video on the way to be premiered on all online and TV video networks.
