    Dave Sheriff is based at Telford in Shropshire and has made Country Music his career since 1972. He worked as a record producer and session musician for Tank Records in Warwick as well as backing many American artistes including Don Gibson, Dave & Sugar, Denis ‘McCloud’ Weaver at the annual Wembley festivals and playing piano on the 1977 Slim Whitman tour. He is now more well known as a singer/songwriter with his dance floor hit Red Hot Salsa being featured in the Danny Boyle film Trainspotting 2 and his song Best Of Friends adopted as an anthem on the British Country Music circuit. He is still actively involved with providing hit songs for many of the top Irish Country singers - Declan Nerney’s ‘Where’s The Party’ and ‘All Friends Together’, Michael English’s ‘Will Ya Dance’ and Robert Mizzell’s ‘Hey Ho Away We Go’ are all songs written by Dave. His song ‘Waltz of a Lifetime’ is being featured in the soon to be released Hollywood movie The Comeback Trail’ starring Robert DeNero, Morgan Freeman, Tommy Lee Jones and Zach Braff His live performance features many of his own songs in addition to many of the requested Country favourites
