As an artist born in Yalova, she continues her career as a vocalist and a songwriter. Melis Güven, who had continuously developed her identity as a musician from an early age, reinforced her education in this field with flute and piano lessons at Fine Arts High School, and then with end-blown flute training in the music theory department of ITU State Conservatory. Melis Güven released her first single "The Outsider" with Eren Erdol, followed by her first Turkish song "Hiç Olmuşsun". She released many other singles after the success of "Hiç Olmuşsun". In October 2020, she released an EP from Sony Music consisting of 5 songs, one of the songs in the EP titled “Mavi” attracted great attention with it’s music video. Joining the Avrupa Music family in 2021, she made the listeners take the dance floor with her single "Teslim Ol", also bearing the signature of Eren Erdol, with its different back track. From now on, she will continue to release her tracks independently. Melis Güven, who attracts attention with her melancholic music and existential lyrics, can be considered one of the important names of alternative pop.
