Brady Rymer is a three-time GRAMMY Award nominee and one of the top talents in the independent family music scene today. Originally with RCA Records band From Good Homes, Rymer ventured into family music with the CD Good Morning, Gus in 2000. Since then, he has released nine CDs, including 2017’s GRAMMY-nominated Press Play, 2015’s GRAMMY-nominated Just Say Hi! And the 2008 GRAMMY-nominated Here Comes Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could. Brady’s 2011 CD, Love Me for Who I Am, inspired by his experience working with kids with Autism and related disorders, celebrates kids of all abilities. Rymer’s rootsy, accordion-laced pop and rock music regularly wins critical acclaim and national awards. Together with his longtime bandmates in the Little Band That Could – outstanding players all, with backgrounds from Americana to Zydeco – he performs rockin’ live music for kids and families across the country. Rymer’s song “Jump Up” was included in the 2013 album Songs for a Healthier America, a compilation of songs produced for First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move campaign. In 2016, he collaborated with Jordin Sparks and Doug E. Fresh on “0 to 60,” a new theme song for the President’s Council on Fitness. In 2012, he released Love Me for Who I Am, for kids of all abilities. Brady’s 2014 and 2016 albums Just Say Hi and Press Play also won rave reviews, Parents’ Choice and NAPPA awards, and two more GRAMMY nominations. The rootsy feel-good vibe of Brady’s Little Band that Could never fails to engage an audience at their shows around the nation. NPR’s All Things Considered noted that Brady’s band (featuring Claudia Mussen, Liz Queler, Seth Farber, Larry Eagle, Jeremy Chatzky and Dan Myers) “might just be the best sounding band in family music.” When he’s not harmonizing with the Little Band That Could, Brady plays bass guitar with the Laurie Berkner Band; he also performs a few select shows a year with his longtime ‘grown-up’ band From Good Homes. He lives on the North Fork of Long Island and serves on the Education Board of the Long Island Music Hall of Fame. For the latest Brady Rymer news and tour schedule, visit www.bradyrymer.com.
