Prokyon is a 18 year old Austrian music producer who produces genres like EDM Trap, Future Bass and most recently Phonk. He already has 5 years of music experience, mainly in the area of song building, composing melodies and more engineering stuff like mixing/mastering a song. With over 30 songs he already has a large track catalogue. Prokyon's style can be clearly heard. His melodies are highly suggestible. Through self-taught music theory/scale theory, he has developed an understanding of writing unique melodies. His perception of rhythm definitely has an influence on his songs as well. Creating drum patterns is everything to him. It's one of the most essential things in music, without rhythm perception his songs wouldn't be what they ended up being. Not to be forgotten is Prokyon's mastering style. The "Compressor" effect plays a very important role here. This mastering method is about limiting the dynamic range of a sound. "Sounds that have not been modified by the compressor can sound very weak in their raw form and can reach any number of decibels. The compressor prevents this by bringing all sounds to the same sound threshold, thereby creating a perfect mix" explains Prokyon. Prokyon has signed 28 record label deals including those of MagicRecords, Rising Wave Records and many more. As a result, he has built up a good relationship with numerous labels who support him constantly. He has also reached over 3.000.000 online streams across all platforms.
