Matthew Vultaggio aka Best Friends Club is a Canadian house music producer and DJ with support from an unusual variety of artists and DJs including Martin Garrix, Foals, Jooris Voorn, and Laurent Garnier. Although Matthew mainly chooses to focus on self-releasing the majority of his music, he has notable releases on boutique house labels like Eton Messy and Stereo Ferment as well as mainstay Lo-Fi record label Fresh Goodies. Best Friends Club's music has been streamed over 6 million times, has been played in stores like H&M and Zara, and has been added to 20+ of Spotify's official editorial playlists such as Outliers, Lo-Fi House, Fresh Finds Dance, New Music Friday Canada, New Music Friday Dance, and RADAR Canada. With influences borrowed from a wide variety of artists including Tom Misch, Kaytranada, Black Loops, and DJOKO/Kolter, Best Friends Club's deep house treatment flirts with trippy sci-fi elements and sampled-based and jazz-drenched Lo-Fi music to create a sound that is uniquely his own. Having largely achieved this level of success through self-producing and self-releasing his music, Matthew now also teaches his DIY approach as a music marketing coach on his blog, YouTube channel, newsletter, and private course library which collectively see over 80,000 views per month.
