Trans-Atlantic Synth from the south of the UK and Pacific Northwest of the US. GlitterWølf is Mike Orvis and Jon Anthony Thomson. They set out to capture what they loved of the 80’s in a bottle, and serve it chilled. The band formed after a game of Dungeons and Dragons, but split after one member disappeared, only to reappear stronger and more fierce. Orvis is a career musician based in Kent, United Kingdom performing with metal, rock and prog bands in addition to his work in the synth wave scene. He has released a series of critically acclaimed singles and been hailed by the media as “one to watch” in the burgeoning synthwave circuit. Thomson is a musician, audio engineer and intermedia artist based in Oregon, U.S.A. Previously performing and releasing music under the moniker “Ethereal Delusions,” Jon has performed synthwave, electronic and house music throughout the US. Their debut album “ Spectrum” contains a collection that spans the latex-clad glam rock to the suited New Romantics. The album posits on love, loss, and aliens.
