Biyografi

Hey, I‘m Polar and I‘m an indie-pop artist based in Germany. 
 In my youth I sang and played guitar in a metal band, aswell as playing local shows as a singer/ songwriter. Alongside recording my own songs, I quickly developed a strong passion for music production. That‘s why after highschool I decided to go all-in on music, moved to Berlin, and eventually had my first successes in the music industry. 
 After being a full time music producer for 3 years, writing and producing pop songs for hundreds of established international artists, I slowly but surely (combined with a global lockdown) started feeling burned out, and kinda lost passion for what I was doing. 
 Something needed to change, so in 2020 I decided to move back to my small hometown, to be close to my friends and family again, and settled in a nice apartment with my own recording studio. 
 With fresh energy and comforting people around me, I naturally started working on my own songs again, and was able to regain my excitement and love for music. 
 Ever since then something clicked with me. Instead of only writing for others, I knew I needed to focus on myself being an artist, telling my own stories, and being the face behind my compositions.
