Bomba Estéreo nació en Bogotá, Colombia en el 2005, liderado por el músico y artista audio-visual Simón Mejía junto a la cantante Li Saumet. En 2006, Bomba Estéreo lanzó su álbum debut y en el 2008 su segundo álbum “Estalla” este le dio visibilidad internacional gracias al éxito de su sencillo “Fuego”. Éxitos como “Soy Yo”, “Somos Dos” o “To My Love”, este último sumando ya más de 1 billón de reproducciones agregadas y varios Discos de Platino. Han publicado 4 álbumes de estudio, colaborado con artistas como Arcade Fire, Sofi Tukker, Carlos Sadness, y suman 7 nominaciones a los Latin Grammy y 2 al Grammy. Bomba Estéreo is a Colombian group, born in Bogota as an experimental project led by musician and audio-visual artist, Simon Mejia together with singer Liliana Saumet. On 2006, Bomba launched it’s debut and on 2008, their second album “Estalla” gave the band international visibility thanks to the single “Fuego". Hits such as "Soy Yo", "Somos Dos", and "To My Love"; this last one having more than 1 billion added reproductions and Multi-Platinum Records. They've released 4 studio albums, collaborated with different artists, such as Arcade Fire, Sofi Tukker, Carlos Sadness. They have been nominated seven times to the Latin Grammy and twice to the Grammy. The band has released their latest album “Deja”. The album, inspired by nature, was presented in four moments represented by the elements “Agua” (Water), “Aire” (Air), “Tierra” (Earth), “Fuego”(Fire).
