Artist, producer, songwriter, and content creator Charles Wilber Nutting VI, known as Chasyn on stage, mixes the authenticity of a live band atmosphere with the larger than life aspect of electronic music. Growing up in Denver, Colorado, he was frequent at the world famous Red Rocks Amphitheater. Inspired by his mom’s cassette tapes, listening to bands such as Journey, Styx, and Queen, she made a deal that if she bought a guitar, he would promise to take lessons. Chasyn first started playing at the age of 6 and was raised to know no limits. After playing in countless rock bands, Chase was diagnosed with a chronic health condition at 15 that changed the trajectory of his life. It was during this challenging time that he realized that he could be the “whole band” by recording sounds into the computer. In July of 2022, Chasyn released his first single “Real” which has amassed over a million views on Tiktok and over 1,000,000 streams on spotify alone. The energetic yet relatable sound caught the attention of many, including the likes of Mike Poser and Adam Sandler. While still struggling with his health issues, Chasyn continues to defy the odds and share his story of perseverance through his platforms, and ultimately in his music.
