" BBC WALES, Frank Hennessy With a troubadour free-spirit, UK singer-songwriter Carrie Tree has spent much of her life travelling with music as her guide, stirring and softening hearts along the way. Singing with a passion for this earth and all that is in it, Carrie shares a unique honesty through her music, touching a place deep inside the hearts of her listeners. Creating an intimate setting, Carrie shapes her mesmeric voice around guitar, piano and percussion.   She draws the listener into a world of mystical storytelling and sublime melody.  This artist has been a known name in the UK's grassroots music scene for many years and has toured in countless retreats, festivals and concerts across the world. She has collaborated live and in the studio with Damien Rice, Carly Simon, Rumer, Fink, Albert Mazibuko (Ladysmith Black Mambazo), Mirabai Ceiba, Murray Kyle, Martha Tilston and Andy Barlow of Lamb, as well as countless other beautiful musicians. Carrie has self-released 3 studio albums - The Kitchen Table (UK 2009), Home To The Invisible (2014 South Africa), and her 3rd album 'The Canoe' produced by Markus Sieber (Aukai/MIrabai Ceiba), completed in Iceland 2019.
