Cause was an Alternative Pop/Chamber Pop band hailing from Bogor, West Java, Indonesia. Formed in 2008, Randi Asra Dahnial, Dely Tambunan, Ryan Rifkianda, Edu Christanto, and Dito Buditrianto deliver an irresistible pop music and noted for Randi distinctive vocals. Many of their lyrics are twisting on the daily life, love, family, parenthood, and friendship. Several songs also deal with the more usual pop-song issues of romance in relationships, but in a contemplative and easy-to-relate-to way. The band has released two albums, plus a mini album, one maxi-single, and one posthumous compilation album. Their debut album “Dialog” has been dubbed as a one of the best pop albums coming from Bogor and getting constant airplay in local radio stations. Followed by the seminal "B-Side & Other Stuff" EP, released by Hujan! Rekords in 2012. Album´s sophomore release “The Man In Suit” is already receiving praises from the critics and takes home "Best Graphic Design Album" award at The 17th Annual Anugerah Musik Indonesia (AMI) 2014. But they still remains an immensely underrated and underappreciated by Indonesian local music magazine/webzine. Cause called time on their career in 2017 and decided to split up to pursue separate creative endeavors. Their final performance was held at Borneo Beerhouse Jakarta and Pelataran Parkir RRI Bogor. They release a final maxi-single "A Tale Of Lonely Man" on cassette tapes in RRI gigs and sold out within hours. - 88
