Music is the voice of the soul! To me, music is life. Music has since surrounded my entire life, but when I discovered Opera and Classical, a new magical world was opened. And when I wrote my first song that was brimming with potential energy, I realized that my passion for life would always be fueled through musical expression. And how could I continue to make the most out of my time if not by dividing deep into what makes me feel alive? 
 My identity in the world of pop music breaks the threshold of what we consider to be a good singer. Not because I have an unbearably massive amount of talent, but because I have the discipline to approach pop as if it were a classical piece of music. This means I excavate the details and try to pull emotion from the momentum of the piece. I feel the pulse of the song as if there were a whole world of juicy secrets hidden between the melody and the beat. I have an understanding of the musical phrases and I can anticipate where they want to resolve. And I use all of these skills acquired in the world of classical singing and I bring them into the studio with me every day. 
 Musicianship is not only affinity for musical expression, but it is also an affinity for working together and synchronizing with the other creative forces around you to achieve the best possible outcome. I hope you enjoy my songs, they’re a portal into a world where classical meets pop.
