We cruised on a houseboat
Basking in the summer sun
We watched a wakeboarder
And a jetski on the run
We pulled a tube along
And took turns for a ride
We jumped in the lake
And slid down the waterslide
On kayaks, saw a duckling
By the shore on the lake
It was lost and so scared
You could feel its poor heart shake
We searched for its family
Led the duckling back to mom
The happy quacks we heard
Began a peaceful calm
