welcome to the dark side of my bizarre mind 24-year-old San Francisco-based producer/DJ Nikita, the Wicked is defying the conventions of greater future bass genre. Nikita strives to create honest, forward-thinking music by “finding the beauty in the imperfect, the elegance in the twisted, the grace within the chaos.” He began producing as an undergraduate at the Univ. of South Carolina, performing weekly as a resident at Cotton Gin. From Salvador Dali to Tyler, the Creator, Nikita’s brand centers around the beautiful darkness the creates with his music, ignited by his passion for both surrealistic visual art and a plethora of int'l cultures. Nikita released his debut EP “not me, the internet” on San Holo’s label bitbird - an introspective and unique collection of tracks that takes listeners on a journey through his mind as he explores the complex intersection between his online persona and his true self. The project has been supported across DSPs and by tastemakers like EDM.com, Early Rising, Brownies & Lemonade, Steve Cardigan, Fashionably Early, and on Alison Wonderland and ILLENIUM’s radio shows. On 3/31/23, Nikita had his debut performance in Los Angeles at Catch One with ALLEYCVT and Rommii. Nikita has been published in We Rave You, This Song Is Sick, Acid Stag, VITUHMINS, Early Rising, Prelude Press, and The Festival Voice.
