Reality. Pain. Heartfelt? All characteristics of 21-year-old TG Kommas’ gritty musical style. Given name Keon Dyes, Kommas was as early as 10 years old when he began recording music with his father in Dallas, TX. Kommas lived out his teen years with his mother in Zion City Baton Rouge, experiencing tragedy and hardship, but ultimately rising above as the victor and ultimately a high school graduate, proving his drive to be successful no matter what. By early 2020, Kommas had already began claiming his spot as a future rap star and heavy hitter, showcasing his piercing rhetoric in hits like “Juug marathon” and “Talk my sh*t”. But when a bad management deal attempted to stifle his rise, he took a 5-month hiatus to recalibrate. Now residing in Atlanta, Kommas is freshly signed to Music The Label, run by Anthony “T.A.” Tate. Subsequently, Boosie Badazz—a Baton Rouge legend—gave Kommas his seal of approval on “Marijuana” in November 2020, and since then Kommas has been cooking up hits, soon to be released, with features from NLE Choppa on “Big Steppa”, and Foogiano, and 42 Dugg on “I Know”. The grind will only continue in 2021 for TG Kommas.
