Félix Iñiguez (lead vocals) and Gilberto Parma (guitar/ backing vocals) are Félix & Gil, a promising pop sensation from Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. The singer-songwriter duo was discovered by Julio Ramírez, one third of the extremely popular LATAM act Reik, when he randomly listened to an early cover video that went viral around Baja. Impressed by their talent, Julio reached out and invited Felix & Gil to continue their musical journey in Mexico City, where the two young artists would gain support and recognition from some of the industry’s most talented musicians and composers, such as Pambo, Matisse, and producer Kiko Cibrián. With newfound drive, Felix & Gil recorded an EP which greatly impressed hit band Reik, prompting the opportunity to collaborate with their song “Al Fin Estás Aquí” on their latest album, Des/Amor. With these credentials and their unique style, rumors of their talent began to spread among many of Mexico’s biggest artists, such as Ha-Ash, OV7, Kabah, and Sasha, Benny & Erik, who would later invite Felix & Gil as the opening act for their shows in many of the country’s most prestigious stages. In early 2018 Felix & Gil released their first single, “Sabe Bien”, captivating the audience and media’s curiosity alike with a musical identity filled with fresh beats, organic guitar-driven rhythms and impressive vocal melodies. The release is accompanied by the duo’s first official video; an invitation to fall in love with their hometown, Ensenada.
