Hailing from the city of Zwolle in the Netherlands, pop producer Lars Beerda, better known as Laurentius, started producing music in 2014. Currently, his music has been streamed over 10 million times worldwide. Lars sets out with his ‘Smile More’ vision to build a community that positively influences each other, using his uplifting and happy music as a gateway to bring this community together. The first international success came with his single 'Mountain Higher', a cover of Marvin Gaye's 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough', collaborating with British singer Kye Sones. In 2018, his single 'You Got Me', released on the label LoudKult, an imprint of Sony Music Sweden, hit 100'000 streams within the first 2 weeks, and was played live on countless radio stations worldwide. Laurentius also made an appearance in the Spotify Top 50 charts and has been nominated for a Grammy for the best electronic production of 2019 in Guatemala. Laurentius continues to amaze his fans with fresh and unique sounds, combining all sorts of genres into pop hits! Being supported by the world's biggest names in the dance scene, there is yet a lot to expect from this 23-year-old artist from the lowlands. With gigs all over the world, he is also growing into an experienced live entertainer.
