Born in Iceland in 1996, raised in Austria, the singer/songwriter Thorsteinn Einarsson can already look back on quite some successes: For his first hit single “Leya” he received an Amadeus Austrian Music Award in 2015 in the category “Songwriter Of The Year". 
 His debut-album "1;", which was released at the beginning of 2016, immediately reached #6 in the Austrian album charts. In the same year he played on the main stage at “Donauinselfest”, the largest open-air festival in Europe. Another Amadeus nomination followed the year after. 
 And the curve of success rose steadily: In 2019, Thorsteinn's second album “Ingi” was released, which entered the Austrian charts at #4. As a result, the young artist could note further successes: sold out concerts, TV appearances and airplay at home and abroad. This also reflects in his fan base which continues to grow on- and offline and which actively supports the artist. 
 The journey continues on June 25th 2021 with "Shackles": In addition to some new tracks till year end, there is also an album and a big tour planned for 2022. To date Thorsteinn’s songs have been streamed 14.5 million times, there have been over 25,000 plays on Austrian radios and his videos have been viewed over 3.2 million times.
