Biyografi

Born Janis Stibelis from a small town called "Talsi", Latvia. His Parents sat him on a piano from the age of 5 years old and he has been there ever since. Janis then started to excel in piano and singing and knew from an early age that this was his soul, heart and mind. While attending the music school Janis discovered what became later one of his biggest influence, it was "Earth Wind & Fire" and Stevie Wonder. He began to be influenced by Jazz and Soul music with 80'ties New Wave and Funky SynthPop with such a bands like Level42, TOTO but to name of few. After graduation of music school Janis obtained the opportunity which he made from pure determination and love for music a place at the Hollywood Musicians Institute, Los Angeles, USA where he studied under "Masta Edwards", who was heavily involved with Stevie Wonder and Norman Brown. During this period he always continued to write and perform his own material and to date has recorded 9 albums of his own. He has won three nominations for Latvian music award , as the best 2 pop albums of the year and the best pop songs of the year. His latest released album " Optimists " on which he takes production credits is a further confirmation that there is considerable musical substance and musical maturity if you care to read between the grooves, His live performance and stage presentation have improved beyond recognition and earned him unstinting admiration many artist around the world.
