The Melbourne guitar band released the ARIA Top 10 album From Here To Wherever in April 1998 which featured radio favourites such as ‘Crazy’ (finished #17 in Triple J’s Hottest 100 in 1997), ‘Clearlight’ and ‘Memorial Drive’. However, Cordrazine surprised critics and disappointed fans by quietly disbanding later that same year. Cordrazine made a surprise return in 2010 to release and launch their beautiful Always Coming Down album before promptly disappearing from the musical landscape again. With 2022 being a major milestone year for the band, they played a special one-night-only show at Howler Melbourne for the 25th anniversary of From Here to Wherever. If fans are lucky, on a quiet night along Melbourne's coastline they might spot frontperson Hamish Cowan having a solo strum. For now, fans can still be transported back to the late 90's by way of listening to Cordrazine's vinyl catalogue purchased via Rubber Records.
