A Pramod seshi roy professionally know as Asura is a Telugu rapper, Record Producer and is a founding member of Nawab gang. He broke into the scene in 2019 and made waves in the industry with his hard hitting, quotable lyrics and his insane production skills. He very quickly became known as one of the best to ever pick up a mic. Even though the pandemic slowed down his shows, it couldn’t stop him from making his mark. He released his first album ‘ASTRA’ in 2020, which had songs like ‘YUDHAM’ featuring Vani and ‘KEKA’. The album was met with great reception by hardcore hip hop fans, Telugu music fans and the commercial side of the industry. He upped his game even further with incredible music videos, all of them deeper and more conceptual than anything Telugu rap had seen before. Since then, ASURA has been working tirelessly to get Nawab Gang and Hyderabadi hiphop into the mainstream and introduce it to as many people as possible. His latest release ‘NENU PUTTANU’ featuring Psychlone is a viral hit with millions of views on all platforms and he’s now a part of the Telugu film industry as well. He’s also just fresh off a 2 city tour in Australia and is now taking Telugu Rap international.
