Kyla Imani, a 21 year-old singer, songwriter is a new voice of young women who embody the power of Generation-Z. The New York City born performer, and NYU student, has deemed it necessary to use her multi-format platform in ways that extend beyond creating the average bubbly melody. 
 In 2014, at the age of 14, Kyla recreated Beyoncé’s “7/11” music video which went viral. Buzzfeed and MTV praised her ingenuity and imagination, and called the video “flawless.” BET followed suit, dubbing Kyla Imani a rising star with an extremely promising future. Shortly after, she released her very own Visual Ep called Sweet Tea. In 2018, Kyla Imani showcased her soothingly raspy tone with a hard-hitting display of Hip-Hop featuring Jay Critch on her popular hit single, “Sitting Up In My Room” and soon after, Kyla Imani dropped the banging and catchy bop, “Decline” featuring Deetranada. She has performed at big festivals such as Vidcon, and world renowned venues such as SOB’s in New York City. 
 While touring with DDG and other well-known Youtubers on the “Breaking The Internet Tour.” Kyla released her second EP, Uploading… She took the reins as the lead writer and producer on this project. She just released her new single,"These Boys Ain’t It.” Her new sound is a blend of soothing R&B, upbeat pop, and a little bit of trap. She has been in the studio writing a lot of new and raw material and is ready to share it with the world.
