    鏡音レンは短く後ろに結ばれたブロンドヘアが特徴的な、14歳の男の子のバーチャル・シンガーです。 クリプトン・フューチャー・メディア株式会社が開発した、歌詞とメロディーを入力して誰でも歌を歌わせることができる「ソフトウェア」として、2007年12月27日に最初のソフトウェアが発売されました。大勢のクリエイターが「鏡音レン」を用いた作品を生み出したことで、「キャラクター」としても注目を集め、今ではバーチャル・シンガーとしてグッズ展開やライブを行うなど多方面で活躍するようになり、人気は世界に拡がっています。 Kagamine Len is a 14 year old male virtual singer and his looks feature short tied back blond hair. Kagamine Len was created together with Kagamine Rin for the voice synthesizer product “VOCALOID2 Kagamine Rin & Len”, first released on December 27th, 2007 by Crypton Future Media. Shortly after the release of the software, fans and users started producing a massive amount of media featuring the character, and the popularity of these creations led to merchandise, live shows, and other projects.
