Rising singer/songwriter Mara Torres is a Filipino who grew up singing and making music just between the walls of her room. Began writing her own songs at a young age, having the dream to perform in a large crowd. She began performing at open mics at coffee shops and posted covers online such as YouTube and Instagram that got inspiring responses. Influences include Kehlani, Daniel Caesar, and Jhene Aiko that honed her into making her genre have a mix of Pop and R&B.
