Chris Bates is a rising pop singer from Auckland, New Zealand. He dropped his debut EP ‘they don’t know a thing about me’ in 2020, followed by the sequel, ‘they don’t know a thing about me 2.0’ in 2021. 2.0’s standout single ‘November (No Hard Feelings)’ hit Spotify’s New Music Friday AU/NZ and Peaceful Pop, racking up over 150,000 streams. ‘Edinburgh’ was recently released as a standalone single, hitting New Music Friday AU/NZ, Peaceful Pop and Pop n’ Fresh, reminiscing on a past relationship. The singles ‘Lose My Mind’ and ‘Tired of This’, and most recently ‘Trust Nobody’, are set to be part of the third EP.
