Denzel Takudzwa Mashonganyika aka Probeatz is a 25 year old rarely talented, versatile beatboxer and rapper whose simultaneous multi-vocal percussion abilities defy nature. He attributes the discovery of his beatboxing talent to frequent powercuts in his hometown of Harare that saw him transform into a human radio as he played around simulating different sounds. He ventured into rap music in 2016 when he released his first single titled Nyamuzihwa. Very Limited Edition (VLE) is his debut EP with tracks like Munoigona Here? which had a positive reception in Zimbabwean music industry. Having started beat-boxing at age 15 in his high density neighbourhood of Mufakose in Harare, ProBeatz has won three major national talent awards and opened up for the 2013 edition of the Harare International Festival of the Arts (HIFA) among many other events he has graced. His work continues to get raving reviews and wide acclaim in Zimbabwe as he has ventured into HIV awareness in schools and communities through the Step Up 2 HIV program where he is a brand ambassador. In 2014 and 2015 Probeatz toured Germany extensively with Kunda Productions where he performed with the production, did concerts and trained beatboxing at various workshops in schools and theatres. He has also toured China with the DreamStar Zimbabwe. To date he is the most sort after and established beatboxer in Zimbabwe. He has started nurturing the next generation of beatboxers through various workshops and cyphers.
